Man Seriously Injured in Sacramento Hit-and-Run at Palmer and Del Paso
SACRAMENTO (March 14, 2019) – A bicyclist was seriously injured after an alleged hit-and-run crash in the area of Palmer Street and Del Paso Boulevard Thursday, according to CBS Sacramento and FOX 40 News.
The accident took place at approximately 11:50 a.m. near Hagginwood Elementary School.
Sacramento police said a man was riding a motorized bike southbound on Del Paso Boulevard when at the same time a vehicle was headed in the same direction.

The driver was turning right onto Palmer Street when they clipped the cyclist. The rider was knocked to the ground in the process and was left with major injuries.
Paramedics responded to the site and immediately transported the victim to the hospital for treatment. His name and condition at this time remained unknown.
Meanwhile, police affirmed that the motorist involved did not stop to render aid and fled the scene. The suspect vehicle was described as a dark colored sedan.
Authorities are still gathering more information and evidence to locate the hit-and-run driver.
