Lisa Solis Hit and Injured by Vehicle at Thousand Oaks High School Parking Lot
THOUSAND OAKS (February 10, 2019) – A woman in her 50s was struck by a vehicle at the parking lot of Thousand Oaks High School Friday evening, according to KTLA and ABC News.
The victim was identified as Lisa Solis.
Preliminary investigation revealed Solis, a parent, confronted a 16-year-old male student after he was seen stealing from a concession stand during a basketball game. After being confronted, the student apparently got into his vehicle and proceeded to drive his vehicle, running over Solis, who stood in front of the car.
Responding medical teams rushed the parent to a nearby hospital, where she was listed in critical condition. Conejo Valley Unified School District said Solis works as an activities assistant for Thousand Oaks High School.

Meanwhile, police reportedly caught up with the juvenile suspect and he was detained on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon. The identity of the teenager has not been disclosed thus far.
