Stephen Jacobson ID’d as One of Two Killed in Shelton Crash on State Route 101
Shelton, Washington State (January 11, 2019) – Authorities have identified one of the two people who were killed Wednesday morning in a traffic accident in Shelton as Stephen J. Jacobson of Bremerton, according to the Washington State Patrol.
The collision was reported at around 5:20 a.m. Wednesday, January 9, on State Route 101.
The WSP said Bremerton was driving a passenger car northbound on State Route 101 when he allowed his vehicle to cross over the centerline into the path of a Kenworth logging truck.
The truck then hit the passenger car.
Jacobson and his female passenger were pronounced dead at the scene. Todd E. Dewey, 44, who was the driver of the truck, was not injured in the crash.
The crash remains under investigation.
